As I am trying to promote IMPDb, I have been in contact with the owner of IMCDb (Internet Movie Cars Database) who has agreed to place a "button" on their website linking to our site. They will also give us a spot on their "Links" page and links to our movie pages on IMCDb's movie pages. (For now we may just need to put our movie link on each of their movie page's comment section)
In exchange, I am putting them on our "Friends and Sponsors" page as well as including them right below our IMDb and Wikipedia links on each film page. I really feel this will help out both sites. Please include a link for them in each page you build. We will be updating the New users page with this info to make it easy for contributors. HERE is an example of what I am referring to. Then you can go to their page and take a look at the example in the comments section of IMCDb's Italian Job.
I will be starting an IMPDb Twitter account as well as making license plate frames and car window stickers for more promotion. I also have links on my Facebook and Myspace pages. I will continue to contact other websites owners, especially once we have a little more content. If any of you know of other ways to promote IMPDb, please throw your ideas up here.

It's fun to see people come and enjoy the site once they learn about it.
Re: Networking
I would like to throw out a couple "shout outs" to some recent additions to our Friends and Sponsors page and explain why we appreciate them.
I have been in contact with Hilton from South Africa via Twitter. Hilton has included a link to our site on the right side of his home page of ShortFinal.tv under the "Interesting Links" section. Short Final collects aviation videos to feature on their site as well as contacts aircraft owners in order to complete a review of the plane. I would encourage anyone interested in aviation to check them out!
Another site which is featuring a link to IMPDb is Icom. Our link, included with a description, is located in their "Sites of other interest" section of the Avionics Links page. Icom, as many of you may know, is a leader in all things radio around the world including their use in aircraft. I personally own a couple Icom radios and feel they are a superior product.
Stop by these great sites and help support our friends and sponsors!
