FRom civilian use to the military one (or vice-versa)

Hello
One more subject not easy to solve : what about a aircraft / helicopter built and bought both by civilian and air forces ?
Douglas DC-3 and C-47/C-53/C-117/R4D are clearly split following their order.
But several planes have a single page for the both use, as like these examples :
* Cessna 190/195 and its military version LC-126
* Lockheed C-130 Hercules which includes civilian L-100
* Boeing 707 and C-135
etc...
Well, as the AS555 Fennec is rarely seen on movies, I've written
[[:Category:Eurocopter AS355 Ecureuil 2/TwinStar|Eurocopter AS555 Fennec]]
as it's the model for air forces of the Squirel.
This have been changed into = Eurocopter AS 555 AN Fennec =
Why not ?
I'm just asking for a clear rule for future pages.
If I understand the split between DC-3 and C-47 due to the numerous appearances of the Skytrain, I think a single page would be easier as some military planes have had a former civilian life or lot of civil planes have been bought to military surplus. This makes the choice sometimes really tricky !
Thanks in advance.
