I've posted some huge TV series and others too.
But I'm afraid nobody has face such problems so I have a dilemna.
For a new serie, I have only very few episodes which could be easily on the same page.
At the end, they are six dozens which would be probably excessive for a single page (each episode will have airplanes, some with several ones [the first one I'm nearly ready to post has twenty different types; I think most of them will have four to five different aircrafts]).
How to proceed ?
A master page with links for each season ?
As I will work on episodes as and when I find them, do I complete the page only by the new episode analysed or could I put all the titles and the subject for all of them to give an overview of the serie ?
This was my first question.
The second one is another big project about the story of aviation.
This story is split in several times, but inside each of them, the episodes have no number or a name which is sometimes confusing to give the right order because I'm working from old VHS of the eighties, I have no caption on the box ...
Of course, I can't find more information about them on the web.
How to name these unknown sections ?
"Episode X
Episode Y"
???
The whole story, made of four seasons, will have 31 episodes and probably a very high number of catégories.
Another time, a single page for all the seasons and episodes and aircrafts
or
A mother page with links towards each season (each episode would have nearly twenty screenshots).
Thanks for your advice !
Two huged series : technical and logical problems
Re: Two huged series : technical and logical problems
Firstly, just to clarify the way TV Series should be formatted:
*Section breaks should only be used for seasons, not episodes.
*Each type of aircraft should only be represented once in each season section. Episodes in which they appear can be included in the information. Max of 5 pictures applies.
From what it sounds like you do have a lot of aircraft in this production, but if the same type appears in multiple episodes, then only one section is required. If it comes to it, individual pages for seasons may be required.
When we decide on what's best for the above, it will help with this. As for naming of episodes, I think whatever you go with is fine.
