Karen O'Connor, a young journalist known for her celebrity profiles, is consumed with discovering the truth behind a long-buried incident that affected the lives and careers of showbiz team Vince Collins and Lanny Morris.

Unidentified Aircraft

Boeing 747 (?) of Pan Am.

Douglas C-47 Skytrain

Reg. CF-OOW Douglas C-47A Skytrain c/n 13342 of Enterprise Airlines.
USAAF s/n 42-93431 then sold to the RCAF in 1944 which flew it until 1970. Then owned by several companies but keeping CF-OOW or C-FOOW registration.
Bought by Basler and rebuilt as a BT-67 (reg. N167BT [2012-2017]), the aircraft is now flying as N131PR.
Seen here in a flash-back period in the movie (1957).
We can see the safety devices blocking the tail during a close-up through a tracking shot that turns around the plane while it is supposed to have cut its engines shortly before.

Cessna 310

Lanny Morris and Vince Collins standing for a picture. The aircraft is either an early Cessna 310 or its military version L-27A (later U-3A).
