High school student Marty McFly accidentally travels back in time to 1955 in a time machine built from a DeLorean by his inventor friend "Doc." While there, he accidentally prevents his future parents George and Lorraine from meeting, threatening the existence of himself and his siblings. He and the young 1955 version of Doc must get George and Lorraine back together and then get Marty back to the future!
