Aermacchi SF.260TP seen in Quantum Of Solace.

The Aermacchi SF.260 is a light aircraft marketed as an aerobatics and military trainer. The first prototype flew on 15th July 1964. Production was undertaken by SIAI Marchetti and continued with this firm until the company was bought by Aermacchi in 1997. In 1980, an Allison 250-B17D turboprop version was added to the variants. The piston variants have two blades when the turboprop have a propeller with three blades; two big pipes under the engine are too a recognition point of these models. The military versions are popular with smaller air forces, which can also arm it for use in the close-support role.

More of 800 Aermacchi SF.260 of all variants have been built, the production being still open.
