Gourdou Leseurre GL-813 HY ready to be catapulted in Mr. Moto's Last Warning.

In 1930, the French Navy ordered this 3-seat reconnaissance floatplane through the 810 model. Next year, a new batch but with folding wings was ordered : it was the 811 model. With the 812 type, the tail of the 810 was enlarged. The last batch (813 variant) was based on the 812 with folding wings and has been built in 1934. From 1935, all the 810 and 811 airframes were upgraded to 812/813 specifications. These 96 robust aircrafts soldiered on mostly until 1940 but the last flight was made at French Antilles on 1945 by a GL-812 HY.
