The Jodel D11 was a development of the Société des Avions Jodel derivated from the single-seat previous production D9. It was a two-seats, single engine, light aircraft built on a French government request for civil training purpose. The D11 would prove be a tremendous success and be produced in several versions by different aircraft companies such as Société Aéronautique Normande, Wassmer, and would breed many further developments under Avions Robins.
