Lufthansa Regional is an alliance and brand name of regional airlines within the German Lufthansa Group. As of June 2015, Lufthansa Regional consists of two members, which are both fully owned by Lufthansa: Air Dolomiti based at Munich Airport (additionally operates some routes under their own brand) and Lufthansa CityLine at Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport. The member airlines maintain bases at Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport, the hubs of Lufthansa. The alliance transports 10.5 million passengers per year, currently serving 64 destinations from Munich and 28 from Frankfurt. Their flights are sold as Lufthansa flights operated by one of the members in the name of Lufthansa Regional. Its predecessor was Team Lufthansa.
