North American O-47 seen in Parachute Battalion.

The North American O-47 was an observation fixed-wing aircraft used by the United States Army Air Corps. It had a low-wing configuration, being the first monoplane in its class with a retractable landing gear and a three-blade propeller. It soon became evident that the type had less ability than more specialized variant of other types and it was quickly relagated to duty tasks like target towing.

239 North American O-47 of all variants have been built between 1935 (prototype) and 1939.

This page lists all films that feature a variation of the North American O-47.
