The Stinson L-1 Vigilant was a 1940s American light observation aircraft first named the O-49 (until 1942) by the USAAC. This two-seat light observation aircraft was designed trying to match the performance of the Fieseler Storch. Some were used as flying ambulance and others as training glider tug. A total of 324 were built.
