To be honnest, I don't understand what these "redirect" operations are made for? Should I do something more after having edited new pages? ... my knowledge in wiki is so weak! Sixcyl 15:22, 16 October 2011 (MDT)

The redirect pages are an attempt to make it easier for people to navigate the site. For example, if they just know its code like AW15 then they're likely to search that and its much easier if it takes them straight to the page rather than having to look through the search page as well.
