Nick Mullen and Vernon Bayliss are two reporters who investigate a supposed link between an opposition MP and a East German attaché. When Vernon suddenly dies Nick realises the scandal goes much deeper than he first imagined. Nick must battle a government who will stop at nothing to prevent him from breaking the story he has uncovered.
