Movie (2005)
French title : Le Seigneur du monde perdu
Starring:
Bruce Boxleitner (Lt. Challenger)
Sarah Lieving (Rita Summerlee)
Rhett Giles (John Roxton)
Jeff Denton (Ed Malone)
(Loosely) based from the 1912 novel The Lost World (according the producer) as there are actions from King Kong mix with the spirit of Lost.
Note: This film utilises a significant quantity of Computer Generated Images (CGI). Aircraft portrayed in this film may not be entirely accurate and have been identified as closely as possible to real aircraft.
Fictional Airliner
Airliner without engine !
Unidentified Airliner
Tail could be from a Boeing 737 but the four wheels main landing gear is for a bigger airliner (707 or Airbus A300/310).
Boeing 737
Douglas A-3 Skywarrior
Douglas C-133 Cargomaster
Perhaps one of the Mojave Air and Space Port boneyard airframe ... or that of the Pima Air & Space Museum ?
The aircraft is seen lying in the jungle (by CGI) but -as for every other aircraft in this movie- once along the fuselage, no vegetation !
Five minutes later, the aircraft is now without wings and lying on the port side !
Poor CGI halfway of the C-133 and a Lockheed C-130 ...
Not a C-133 cockpit : the real entrance is not in the axis like seen here ! And the Mojave aircraft have been stripped off by all their instruments as you can see in Backlight.
Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet
Collision! Instead of exploding or dismantling, the two fighters are just spinning towards the ground !
Unidentified Aircraft
Should be the cockpit of the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet...
