PanAm Flight 1736 was taxiing down the runway when a KLM 747 that was about to take off crashed into the plane tearing of parts of the roof. Investigators found out that it missed the taxiway where it had to go off. However the plane was to big to even make the sharp turn. Registration N736PA c/n 19643/11.

Reg. PH-BUF c/n 20400/157 After a KLM 747 is starting its Takeoff in dense fog it crashes into a PanAm 747 still taxiing on the same runway. It was fully loaded with kerosin because it was refuelled at the airport. The plane might have cleared the PanAm plane if it weren't so heavy. This was also a factor why the plane burned so extremely.
