PZL 104M - Jsiminski
- Looks like a match. Good eye Jsiminski! Tobin Lee 13:32, 8 February 2011 (MST)
- Then 104M is produced by PZL-Okęcie in Warsaw. There is a small problem with PZL's (at least to me) as in socialist economy it was a sort of industrial union with branches in many different cities. Many of them used as a kind of brand, names like "PZL-city/district" - where factory was placed. So if we list the Mi-2 helicopters as "PZL-Świdnik" and some others as "PZL-Mielec", I guess it should be PZL-Okęcie in this case too. Maybe Jsiminski knows how it should be?
- P.S. The plane is also to see at the beginning of "Ekstradycja III" (I've just seen it) its reg. is SP-FWD. Weasel1984 15:41, 09.02.2011
- One more thing is to solve. The production of "Wilga 104M" started in 1998, and this series was filmed in 1996/97. This source - http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1008644/ calls SP-FWD "104 Wilga 35A" - without M. Also we can compare here, that front of SP-FWD is different than in old Wilgas, but doesn't have yet such shape like in later model 104M. Anyway I would never guess from this pic from film, that it can be also a Wilga ;) , so thanks a lot for the tip Jsiminski Weasel1984 22:08, 09.02.2011
- Small update of naming convention also in case of Wilga: http://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=Talk:Na_niebie_i_na_ziemi Weasel1984 13:55, 22.05.2011
