The stunt Jean Falloux died for this movie in an air cascade. This film is dedicated to him.
A former pilot of the Air Force, he became stunt pilot and made several movies (Les aventuriers in which he played as the main pilot of a two seat aircraft, bringing back Manu who has lost his license).
A year before this deadly action, he made for the television a stunt landing at 62 km/h with a Tipsy T.66 Nipper 2 registered F-BMLV (c/n 28). Here is the video from the INA website (in french) :
