is a Westland Wessex 60 (99% sure.) Regregex (talk) 03:34, 6 March 2018 (MST)

or maybe as anticipation drawing of the 1950's, a Percival P.74 ? LVCDC (talk) 16:09, 7 March 2018 (MST)
Perhaps. There are three rotor blades but that may be the artist's mistake, as the high cockpit, nose air intake and hatch/window positions all speak of the Wessex. Transport to oil platforms was also a proven rôle of the Wessex throughout the 1970s and its predecessor was established in search and rescue by 1962. Regregex (talk) 03:01, 9 March 2018 (MST)
You're right but the boom seems too short for the Wessex. But it's just a drawing and screenshot isn't of the best quality ... Oil platforms are quite different from this concept drawing. Hard to choose as I didn't see the documentary. Interesting exchange of views. LVCDC (talk) 03:24, 9 March 2018 (MST)
