Contribution scores

With the help of our great admin Rush, we have implemented a
Contribution Score MediaWiki extension which is located in the Special pages section on the side bar.
I thought it might be fun. However, I was testing the feature and found that my score went up the same amount whether I complete a full movie page (in one take), or simply add a period somewhere on a current page. It went up by 1 point each time. Kind of a bummer, but maybe it could still be fun.
Post up what you guys think and experience with this, if you decide to check it out of course.
By the way, Bthebest and G-MANN are kicking my butt already and atom is creeping up right behind me!

User Sixcyl has jumped in rank and made it to #1 for the past 7 day edits

Please remember,
scores are calculated as follows:
One (1) point for each unique page edited
Square root of (total edits made) - (total unique pages) * 2
Scores calculated in this manner weight edit diversity over edit volume. Basically, this score measures primarily unique pages edited, with consideration for high edit volume - assumed to be a higher quality page.
