Lockheed L-18-56 Lodestar
At Wingfield Aerodrome, former municipal airport of Cape Town.
Registration OO-CAI, c/n 18-2013. Built in 1940 ordered by Régie Air Afrique, registered F-ARTM but not taken up due to WWII. Delivered to SABENA in August 1941, registered OO-CAI. Sold to EAA-East African Airways in June 1949, registered VP-KHA. Sold to the USA in January 1952, registered N5381N, re-registered N555H in October 1955. Bought by D & D Aero Inc. Rantoul KS in May 1976, transferred to Dodson International Parts Inc. Cancelled in December 2018.

Registration ZS-ATA, c/n 18-2046. Built in 1940. Delivered to South African Airways/Suid Afrikans Lugdiens in January 1941, named Jan van Riebeek. Requisitioned by SAAF-South African Air Force in 1941, registered 1374. Returned to South African Airways/Suid Afrikans Lugdiens after WWII as ZS-ATA, renamed Alexander Biggar. Sold to Interstate Airlines in July 1955, registered N670. Sold to Peru as OB-F-558.
