Scientists on a remote Pacific island are conducting climate conversion experiments, accidentally creating intense heat with mutates the island's already giant praying mantises into huge monsters. They dig up a huge egg, which hatches into a baby Godzilla, Minya, who is Godzilla's son. Godzilla soon comes to the island to protect his offspring from the huge mantises as well as a giant spider named Kumonga.
Unidentified Aircraft
A plane which briefly encounters Godzilla during a storm. This scene is only present in the Japanese and international cuts of the movie, and was deleted from the American release.
