Godzilla begins approaching a nuclear meltdown which will destroy the Earth if not contained. At the same time, after-effects from Dr. Serizawa's oxygen-destroyer, which killed the original Godzilla, mutate microscopic lifeforms into a single gigantic creature dubbed Destroyah.
