Registration N90831, c/n 1970. Delivered new to USAF as Lockheed C-69-1-LO Constellation in March 1946, registered 42-94549. Sold to TWA-Transcontinental & Western Air in October 1948, modified for commercial use as Lockheed C-69/L-049 Constellation , registered N90831 and named 517 Star of Switzerland/Etoile de Suisse. Transferred to TWA-Trans World Airlines in May 1950. Wfu in April 1961 because of damaged left wing when gear collapsed on 3/30/61. Sold to Las Vegas Hacienda Inc. and repaired using c/n 2074. Leased to Worldwide Airlines in July 1962. Leased to Standard Airways in 1963. Bought by McCullough Properties Inc. in December 1965. Sold to Southwestern Skyways in July 1970.
