The Piasecki H-21 Workhorse/Shawnee is an American helicopter with tandem rotor designed and built by Piasecki Helicopter (later Boeing Vertol) just after the WW2. Commonly called the "flying banana", it was a multi-mission helicopter, utilizing wheels, skis, or floats. He was widely used during the fifties and sixties during in Vietnam and Algeria war. Some were converted for the civil use. More 500 were built.
