Film based on the 1963 Great Train Robbery where a gang of criminals robbed a Royal Mail train of several million pounds and then hid out from the police searching for them.

Westland WS-55 Whirlwind

Following the robbery the police ask for an RAF helicopter to search the area. In a particularly tense scene the helicopter flies around and then over the hideout used by the gang.
