Air Malta is the flag carrier airline of Malta, based in Luqa. It operates services to 36 destinations in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. The airline's main hub is Malta International Airport. The company was founded in 1973 from a decision of the Maltese Government with a partnership of PIA-Pakistant International Airlines.
