The 1950s cartoon, "Clutch Cargo" [1] featured an inaccurately drawn Bellanca Airbus. I can't say if it was intentionally drawn that way or not. I tried a few years ago to contact someone who might have known why that plane was chosen for the strip but I was unsuccessful in learning more about its appearance.
