From the VRT Telivision News on the 7th November 2001. Flight SN 690, an Airbus A340, from Cotonou in Benin, is the last ever in Sabena's history. It lands at Aéroport Bruxelles-National/Brussel-Zaventem Airport on 7th November 2001. On the tarmac, a crowd of Sabena's employees has come to salute the end of an era. Under the firemen's jets of water, the aircraft heads slowly for the terminal, for the last time after 78 years of Belgian aviation history.
