Per Aeromovies, two aircraft were used in filming and painted identically with false registration OI-ELI:
- Auster J/5G Autocar registration F-BASB, c/n 2973
- Auster J.1 Autocrat registration F-BDAK, c/n 2212
F-BASB appears more frequently in the film and can be distinguished by details like the Venturi tube on the right side near the cockpit, and the propeller dynamo fixed on the leading edge of the wing (see first and fifth pictures).
