VP-Y.. was for Northern Rhodesia before 1964.

Unidentified Aircraft

Unidentified low-wing aircraft OR-KPN flying in formation with the Cessna.

Not seen here but the wingtip is fitted with a tank.

Cessna 170

Registration OR-AFL.

Once landed, the Cessna is surprised and sized by rebels, the pilot and two journalists exited and the plane burnt.

Unidentified Aircraft

The chase plane (now a high-wing aircraft) tried to land and bring back the three men but must go under fire.
Only the cockpit is seen.

"Nothing we can do now so we swing back to Dar El Salam" (Egypt).
