A Canadian POW major is rescued by a special British military unit made up of Germans to help lead an attack on a major German fuel depot in Tobruk, Libya.
Note that much of the aviation footage in this film would later be reused in Raid on Rommel.

Registration N1207V, c/n 18796 / AL152. Built as a Kittyhawk Mk 1A for the RCAF with serial 1082. To the civilian market with registration N1207V in 1947. Later reregistered N95JB in 1987. Nowadays she is preserved at the War Eagles Air Museum in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
