Launoy et Bienvenu Hélices contra-rotatives.

On April 26, 1784, the Frenchmen Launoy and Bienvenu flew a very simple, small model in front of the Royal Academy of Sciences. It was powered by an arc spring mechanism that drove two counter-rotating propellers shaped like bird feathers.
