The FMA (Fábrica Militar de Aviones) IA 58 Pucará is an Argentine ground-attack and counter-insurgency (COIN) aircraft. It is a low-wing two-turboprop-engined all-metal monoplane with retractable landing gear, and is capable of operating from unprepared strips when operationally required. Mainly used by the Fuerza Aérea Argentina (Argentine Air Force) which engaged them in combat during the 1982 war with United Kingdom, FMA sold too small batches to Columbia, Uruguay and Sri Lanka. A captured Pucara worn british roundels the time it was tested at A&AEE Boscombe Down.
Sources are not consistent about the number of FMA IA 58 Pucará built (spanish wikipedia says 100, english one more 150).
