Add on
- On the DVD Patton (about which I will make a new page soon), a trailer about Tora ! Tora ! Tora ! displays some interesting planes to add.
- About the Kingfisher, the category page will be to soon uploaded.
- As already posted on the forum, this movie is one of those which poses debate : must we describe the aircraft seen ? Or do we name the airframe used, despite (hard) work to convert it into a new shape ? I've choose to name what is seen on the screen...

Modified airframes
When the plane is registred and/or airframe base is well identified, the rule should be to name the airframe and not the pretending aircraft shown. Otherwise,if it's a replica, then the name of the original is used. Sixcyl 18:00, 5 December 2012 (MST)
Some Additions
New aircraft types and some additional information about registry and actions in other movies added. As aircraft have no distinctive markings, it's hard to be sure which one is on the screenshot and so to link the picture with other movie(s). LVCDC 01:04, 19 July 2014 (MDT)
B-17 one wheel landning
It should be noted that the famous scene with the emergency landing on one wheel is actually edited with two different airplanes! The real accident was shot on 16 mm film but not by the film crew of the movie itself. The B-17 coming out of the smoke is another B-17 shot by the Tora film crew a day or two later! Look for the cut in editing and you will see that the B-17 coming out of the smoke never ground loops! --Towpilot 04:46, 30 August 2014 (MDT)
