On 27 December 2014 and in January 2015, 21 Christian construction workers (one from Ghana, the others being Egyptians) had been kidnapped in the city of Sirte, Libya. On 12 February 2015, the Islamic State killed them for their faith. At dawn on 16 February, the Egyptian military conducted airstrikes on IS facilities in Libya. The film is based on this raid and, above all, the circumstances that preceded it.

But a continuity error occurs at the end of the action : no more engine cowlings and a rear ramp is in place of the clamshell doors. Nose is too different.

Egypt has bought seven E-2C Hawkeyes. Most of the time, it's the last of them we can see on the screen.

This footage is view in a bad ratio; this screenshot restores normal proportions.
