The Percival Gull was designed in 1931 by the Percival Aircraft Company. This British single-engined monoplane three-seat touring and racing aircraft was popular due to some long-range record breaking flight. The design bureau made blueprints of three models for a total of eight variants. This first aircraft was followed three years later by the Vega Gull, a four-seat with span and length slightly increased, of course with the most powerful engine of the Gull series.
48 Percival Gull airframes were built and 90 Vega Gull left the factory.
