The Goodyear GZ-19 was a class of non-rigid airship by The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in the United States. The GZ-19 and 19A blimps were 150 and 157 feet (46 and 48 meters) long. A further new design added 35 or 42 feet (11 to 13 meters) and this resulted in the larger GZ-20 class.
Mostly used by Goodyear as promotional aircraft mainly during big events over stadium or biggest show for television purpose. For night flights, advertising could be broadcast through the Skytacular, a network with over 3,000 incandescent lamps on the side of the blimp. This required an additional power unit in a underbelly removable pod.
