The Lockheed C-141 Starlifter was a military strategic airlifter operated by the U.S. Air Force for over 40 years. 285 aircraft were produced and the aircraft were operated by the Air Mobility Command of the USAF. It first flew in 1963, and introduced to service in 1965.
