This page is being created to continue a conversation which was taking place here. I will add key points to this page as consensus is reached and changes are implemented. Please visit the Discussion tab to share your views.
Key Points
As of today, we're considering maximum file size in an effort to cut down on the DB size. Storage is becoming a problem due to how large this wiki has become.
- The server allows for 100MB files, which is much to large. Considerations are currently somewhere between 250KB and 3MB.
- File types may need to be limited.
- Number of thumbnails generated by the site may need to be further limited (already down from 5 sizes to 3).
