Season 1 (1974)

Santos Dumont Demoiselle (replica)

Ep. 1.3 Les Vautours
According the screenplay, Hubert Latham is ready to take off from Sangatte. As no Antoinette was available, the filming used a smaller, cheaper and most of all already existing Santos Dumont Demoiselle.
Same aircraft in other movies at IMPDb: Frequently Seen Aircraft (Civil Fixed-Wing).

Unidentified Aircraft

Ep. 1.3 Les Vautours
Still according the screenplay, picture depicting the second trial of Latham undermined by a burst which killed the mechanic and destroyed the aircraft. Still not yet the historic Antoinette !
If Hubert Latham tried two times to cross the Channel with an airplane, his two failures were only due to the engine itself.

Blériot XI

Ep. 1.3 Les Vautours
Anachronistic registration (F-PERV) as the first French ones were only given in 1920. But this Bleriot XI is not a replica and had crossed the Channel in 1954, 1959 and 1976. Now registered as F-AZBA and seen in other movies (check IMPDb: Frequently Seen Aircraft Civil Fixed-Wing).
