Note the black spinner.

And now without the black spinner.
According to the screenplay, the aircraft is owned by the CNAC-China National Aviation Corporation flying over the Himalaya. But we see a TWA airplane repainted with what would be the colors of the Chinese airline. A close look shows that not only the spinner are different, the ideograms have also changed between the 2 planes filmed.
The wings of the real CNAC planes were largely covered with inscriptions missing here.

Other times and other places : how to refuel quickly in the middle of nowhere (action filmed not on the Tibetan Plateau but performed over the Sierra Nevada with the refuelling shot at the Lucerne Lake).
