Registration A02-829 is also fictional.
If the shape is close to the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 family, the plane is mostly a mix of several types plus a set that is not always very accurate.
Scroggins Aviation provided the forward cockpit section of an ex-US Airways Airbus A320 for cockpit and forward cabin scenes.
The layout of five-abreast single-aisle is right. A full-sized McDonnell Douglas MD-82 is reported as having been used for rear cabin and exterior shots.
The engines are CGI and more closely match those found on the McDonnell Douglas MD-90 despite a lack of realism (compare with the real ones). Filming took place in Puerto Rico; perhaps N428AA, an MD-82 that's been stored at José Aponte de la Torre Airport (NRR/TJRV) since 2009, was used as a base.
