North American P-51D Mustang
A few Mustangs fly over at the end of the final battle, destroying a Tiger tank and strafing German troops.
The checkerboarded nose is the marking of 82nd and 84th FS (rudder's color is the way to distinguish them).
Two Mustangs were used in filming, CAC CA-18 Mk.22 Mustang registration D-FBBD Big Beautiful Doll owned by the Old Flying Machine Company, and P-51D registration N167F Old Crow owned by Scandinavian Historic Flight.
