Son Indochine title screen.

Short Movie (2012)

It's Emile's 80th birthday. Suzie (his rear-granddaughter) offers him a gift which reminds him Indochina. He then tries to explain her what was Indochina and why he went there.

Note: This is an animated film. The aircraft shown in it are therefore not actual aircraft, however, where a reasonable depiction of an actual aircraft has been created, it has been identified as best as possible.

Unidentified Aircraft

Are Emile's memories slighty too old or did the action too quick to keep a precise view ?
The plane seems to be a Grumman F6F Hellcat with the cowling and spinner of a North American T-6.
