Serial 44-62314, c/n 11791. Named Gas Gobbler, this aircraft took part in an around-the-world trip in 1948 alongside two other B-29s, one of which crashed mid-journey.
While originally built as a B-29A-45, details like "No Smoking within 50 ft." written on the forward landing gear door, additional equipment attached to the bottom of the rear of the fuselage, and the circle R tail logo of the 509th Air Refueling Squadron, indicate that it has been converted into a KB-29M tanker.
