Vickers Viking G-AIVL Vigilant

On 13 April 1950, flying over the Channel, she suffured a big explosion seriously injuring the flight attendant but the pilot was able to land safely with no more injury. More detailed account and some picture (and video) on airbornerambler.com.
She returned to service and was later sold to Eagle Airways as a Vickers Viking 3B actually christened Lord Hawke (at least until 1958). LVCDC (talk) 00:05, 3 November 2020 (MST)
