Boeing 747 series 100 or 200

Looking at the pictures, one could say it's either a High Capacity Short Range version 747-181/SR or newer 747-281B version at the time of the film.
But according to comments from Peter (humungus), we can rule on a long haul, therefore 281B:
It plays a role: it delivers the Japanese businessman and his family to Los Angeles to their everlasting regret. There's an interior shot of a super duper business class, too, but I didn't think it was interesting (and it's likely a studio set anyway).
