A Story, Not History

As written at Wikipedia, the story is loosely based on that of the Resistance operative Mathilde Carré alias La Chatte. But La Chatte had a far more complex role using double-dealing and even triple-dealing. She was not executed, but imprisoned in the UK from July 1943, then tried in France and finally released for health reasons in September 1954... but lived on for another fifty years.
Another point of fiction: the recovery of a V1 by a British plane. In fact, it was an operation carried out in Poland with a C-47 for some V2 components... and subject of the film Battle of the V-1.
