About the pilots :

• CDT (i.e. Commandant / major) Jeantet was the comamnding officer of E.C. 1/5 « Vendée ». He was a general when he retired.
• Colonel Vincent Lanata became general and reached the highest responsabilities; he was Chief of Staff of the French Air Force between 1991 and 1994.

Do not confuse him with his son André in charge of the same responsabilities since 21 September 2015.

• Ten years later, Lieutenant CONTESSE was commanding officer of E.R. 3/33 Moselle.
