Possibly a Lockheed Hudson used by Royal Canadian Air Force?

No. 119 Squadron RCAF used them for anti-submarine duty over the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Ocean around Nova Scotia where some of the filming was carried out.

Only 50% certain, needs confirmation, but visibly looks the same to me.

I agree with the aircraft ID above. i also think that:

is the civilian version, Lockheed Model 14.
Shifted the photos around a bit as well cos there's actually another different aircraft in there, notice the single vertical stabilizer.

You guys are amazing. Both plane's info (year introduced, operators, and pictures) seem to coincide with the film and the plane screenshots. If I am not around and you know what a certain plane is that I have put up, feel free to update the page. Anyway, thanks for the help. Tleeg 06:06, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

I've seached for the remaining aircraft with the single tail and the closest I can come is the Douglas Digby Mark I which served with the RCAF on submarine patrol duty from about 1939-1940. According to Wikipedia 20 RCAF Douglas Digbys were in service based on the USAAC Douglas B-18 Bolo, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_B-18_Bolo.
